Is grey engineered stone heat resistant?

Grey Engineered Stone provides great resistance to heat for everyday cookware but we recommend the use of trivets for very hot items only. It has a non-porous finish that's easy to clean and offers superior performance in busy kitchens/bathrooms.
Basic maintenance Easy to maintain - use gentle soap and water (do not use abrasive cleaners); re-seal only if required by your manufacturer’s guidelines. Because it’s non-porous, it resists staining and is quick and easy to clean on a regular basis.
Although there may be climates where outdoor use is acceptable, I would normally recommend using an indoors only installation because of the effects of UV exposure and temperature change on the colour consistency of products. You will maintain the appearance and performance of a product longer by using it under an indoors environment than if you had used it outside.
