What is terrazzo made of?

Terrazzo consists of pieces (chips) of various aggregates (marble, glass, quartz, etc.) embedded into cement or epoxy binder, ground and polished to expose mosaic patterns and provide a durable, easy-to-clean surface.
The type of terrazzo slab that is appropriate for being used outdoors will depend on what type of binder and finish you choose.
