Durability

Non-Porous Surface

Is fabricated quartz heat and stain resistant?

While engineered stone holds up well against heat and many kinds of stains, it is not suitable for long-term exposure to hot items such as pots and pans, so we recommend you always use a trivet under anything hot before placing it on your countertop or floor.
No need for sealants with engineered quartz because it is not porous so it resists liquids and is stain-free, thus easy to manage. In homes and projects, regular cleaning of the surface with detergent and water will keep the surface looking as good as new for many years.
Climatic conditions and finish determine whether outdoor use is possible. While many paving slabs will resist sunlight, UV radiation that is prolonged by the atmosphere may change how stable the colour is. The best way to know about outdoor ready options from the supplier. Where applicable, select a sealant or coating that is good at holding up to UV rays.
